3. The da'ee must not be exploited to lure people and increase their numbers. If he is going to be exploited for this purpose, he must not go there. See Sheikh Muqbil's advice above 4. The daa'ee is entering a risky environment, so he has to be well prepared; this means he has to have deep-rooted knowledge to be able to refute any Shubuhaat, and enough Wara' so he is not overcome by his Shahawaat. He needs to be well spoken in order to articulate the truth in the best manner. Otherwise, people may not be convinced with what he is calling them to - even if he is knowledgeable. 🔺Note: da'wah is not confined to lectures and classes, da'wah is also through action. One of the common ways Ahlul-Bid’ah mislead people is through feigning good manners; being extremely polite, kind and welcoming. How many have been deceived by this?! When they come away from Ahlul-Bid’ah and return to their brothers, they may not recieve the same hospitality, and so this becomes a reason for them sympathising with Ahlul-Bid’ah and watering down their stances. Hence, there's a difference between the firm da'ee who goes to the people of innovation to advise and warn them of their innovation while remaining firm upon the correct methodology (the fatwas of allowance apply to this one) and the soft daa'ee who joins their ranks and waters down his stances to appease them (the fatwas of disallowance apply to this one). 5. Once the da'ee delivers his message and he sees them persisting upon their misguidance, he should leave them and not return. See the Fatwa of Sheikh ibn Baz.
