Sheikh Albāni raḥimahullāh said:

“The Day of Al-Fiṭr (the 1st of Shawwal) is ’Eid. As for the second and third day, they are not from the days of ’Eid at all. Thus ’Eid Al-Fiṭr is only one day whilst ’Eid Al-Aḍhā is four days.”
