5⃣. Women are a great Fitnah upon the men Usāmah ibn Zaid raḍhiyallāhu ’anhu narrated: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “I have not left behind a trial more severe to men than women.” [Bukhāri & Muslim] Abū Sa’ēd Al-Khudri raḍhiyallāhu ’anhu narrated: The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said, “I have not seen anyone deficient in intelligence and religion more able in leading a cautious sensible man astray than one of you (women).” [Bukhāri & Muslim] He raḍhiyallāhu ’anhu also narrated that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: “Beware of the temptation of the Dunyā and the allurement of women, for verily, the first trial for the people of Isrā'ēl was caused by women.” [Muslim] • The Prophet ﷺ has clearly warned men from the fitnah of women, so how is a man supposed to avoid this temptation if he places himself infront of a group of woman, some of whom may not even be veiled properly?! Sa’ēd ibn Al-Musayyib, the greatest of all the Tābi’ēn, raḥimahullāh said: “By Allāh, if I were entrusted with houses full of gold and silver, I would be faithful in looking after them, but if were entrusted with an ugly-looking black female slave, I would not be able to remain faithful.”
