It was written by Shaykhul Islām Ibn Taymiyyah. His kunyā is Abul 'Abbās and his name is Aḥmad ibn 'Abdil-Ḥalīm ibn 'Abdis-Salām ibn Taymiyyah.
Q4: When and where was he born, and when and where did he die?
He was born in 661H, in the town of Ḥarrān, South East of modern day Turkey, and He died in the year 728H, in the prisons of Damascus.
