Recitation of Abū ’Uthmān Ismā’ēl Al-Faransī ḥafidhahullāh | imām of masjid As-Sunnah (seiyun)

• This is the brother who currently leads us in Tarāwīḥ. His ḥifdh is excellent Allāhumma bārik. He completes 1 juzz a night on his own with hardly any mistakes. He also implements many of the forgotten Sunans, such as supplicating after reciting Āyāt that contain supplication, prolonging the different positions in Ṣalāh, etc. But one thing which I like most is, he doesn't stop at the najmah (*) unless the meaning makes sense. For example, the last Āyah of the 10th juzz: { وَلَا عَلَى ٱلَّذِینَ إِذَا مَاۤ أَتَوۡكَ لِتَحۡمِلَهُمۡ قُلۡتَ لَاۤ أَجِدُ مَاۤ أَحۡمِلُكُمۡ عَلَیۡهِ تَوَلَّوا۟ وَّأَعۡیُنُهُمۡ تَفِیضُ مِنَ ٱلدَّمۡعِ حَزَنًا أَلَّا یَجِدُوا۟ مَا یُنفِقُونَ } [Sūrah At-Tawbah: 92] This is where most imāms stop. But with brother Ismā’ēl, he will continue to the next Āyah as it's related to the previous Āyah, and he will continue reciting until the meaning/story is complete.
