Sheikh Bā Jammāl was asked regarding standing feet to feet in prayer, so he ḥafidhahullāh said: “What's also required in terms of facing [the Qiblah] in the prayer is, i.e. it's recommended to face the toes towards the Qiblah [when standing in prayer] just as it's recommended to face them towards the Qiblah during Sujūd. So when they are facing the Qiblah, this is the standard in terms of standing feet to feet. You should not bend the feet like the number 8 (/ \), nor like the number 7 (\ /), but rather they should be set like the number 11 (| |).”
