(2) the ḥadīth of 'Uqbah ibn 'Āmir, may Allāh be pleased with him, that; once the Prophet (ﷺ) went out and offered the funeral prayers for the martyrs of Uḥud,

"I am a predecessor for you and I am a witness over you, and by Allāh, I am looking at my Ḥawḍh right now."
[Reported by Bukhāri and Muslim]
Sheikh Uthaymīn, may Allāh have mercy on him, cited this ḥadīth as proof to show that the Ḥawḍh exists right now. [Sharḥ Aqīdah Al-wasiṭiyyah]
As for the Ijmā', then this was relayed by Al-Qurṭubi in 'Al-Mufhim' (28/19).
5. Know dear Muslim, that it is only the true followers of the Prophet ﷺ who will be allowed to drink from the Prophet's Ḥawḍh. As for the innovators and the disobedient Muslims, then they will be turned away and held back from drinking.
The Prophet ﷺ said:
"Some people will be driven away from my Ḥawḍh as the stray camel is driven away. I will call out: Come, come. So it would be said (to me): These people changed after you, and I would then say: Be off, be off."
[Reported by Muslim on the authority of Abū Hurairah, may Allāh be pleased with him]
Likewise, the Prophet ﷺ said:
"There will be leaders that will come after me who will not adhere to my guidance or follow my way. Whoever approves of their lies and supports them in their oppression, then he is not of me and I am not of him, and he will not be allowed near my Ḥawḍh."
[Reported by Aḥmad in his Musnad on the authority of Jābir ibn Abdillāh, may Allāh be pleased with him]
6. Description of the Prophet's Ḥawḍh [taken from At-Tuḥfah Al-'Aliyyah of Sheikh Muḥammad Bā Jammāl]:
(1) it is whiter than silver; and in some reports, whiter than milk
(2) it tastes sweeter than honey
(3) it smells better than musk
(4) its length and width are both a months journey
(5) its water stems from Jannah through two streamlets; one made from gold and the other from silver
(6) whoever drinks from it will never feel thirsty
(7) its vessels are as numerous as the stars
(8) Some people from this Ummah will come to drink thereof, but they will be driven away
(9) The Prophet ﷺ will hold some of the crowd back in order for the people of Yemen to go ahead
(10) The Ḥawḍh is real and it exists right now
(11) it is colder than ice.
NOTE:
In the book, the Sheikh mentions 13 descriptions in total. However, I have left out the 4th & 9th descriptions, because when I asked the sheikh, he said:
"They are descriptions of Al-Kawthar and not the Ḥawḍh."
We suffice with this much in today's class, and we ask Allāh The Exalted, that He allows us to drink from the Ḥawḍh of our prophet (ﷺ).
