Who will buy a home in Firdaws and live therein * by offering a single rak‘ah at night in secret? Or satisfy the hunger of a poor person by giving him his fill * at a time of famine and widespread inflation? The soul desires the Dunya while it knows * that the path to safety is to abandon what is in it By Allāh! If my soul was content with what it has been given * of provision, that would surely be enough for it
