BENEFIT 27: Spread Islam through good, upright conduct
Sheikh Ṣāliḥ Fawzān ḥafidhahullāh said:
«إن أولى الناس في إظهار محاسن الدين وسماحته هم الذي يعيشون مع غير المسلمين، فيكونوا قدوة حسنة أمامهم. ‏وانظر إلى بلاد إندونيسيا عندما دخلها الحضارم فتحوها ونشروا الإسلام فيها بأخلاقهم وأدبهم وتعاملهم في البيع والشراء وصدقهم مع الناس».
“The people most worthy of manifesting the virtues and tolerance of Islam are those who live with non-Muslims, so they should set a good example in their presence. Look at Indonesia; when the people of Ḥaḍhramawt entered, they conquered it and spread Islam therein through their good manners, conduct, dealings in buying and selling, and their truthfulness with people.”
