The following is a feedback written by a brother who travelled to Tanzania: Name of Centre: Dār Al Hadīth, Masjid Al-Albāni Location: Tanzania, Dar es Salaam, Buguruni Who is the main Shaykh? ▪️Shaykh Abul-Yamān ’Adnān ibn Hussein ibn Ahmad Al-Masqarī May Allah preserve him and increase in him goodness. About the Sheikh: ▪️He is from the scholars of Yemen who studied in Dammaj under Sheikh Muqbil rahimahullah, then Sheikh Yahya hafidhahullah ▪️He memorised the Qur'an before adulthood ▪️He can recite in various Qiraa'aat. He recites in a melodious voice without compromising the rules of Tajweed. ▪️He has also memorised Saheeh Muslim, Bukhari, Saheeh Al-Musnad of Sheikh Muqbil and many other texts of knowledge (mutoon) ▪️ He has taught and authored numerous works in various sciences ▪️ He has also written a great deal of poetry ▪️The scholars praise him ▪️You can read more about the Sheikh on this link: https://t.me/AbulYamman/2320 Feedback on the Sheikh: From the bounties of Allah - The Most Generous - is that He grants success to His fortunate slaves to manifest the Sunnah of the prophet ﷺ. This manifestation is seen most frequently by the people of knowledge, for Indeed the very reason why they dedicate their life to learning the Qur'ān and Sunnah is merely to attain Allāh's pleasure by implementing what they learn. And most definitely اللهم بارك, from what I've seen, the Shaykh may Allah preserve him manifests the Sunnah and mannerisms of the Prophet ﷺ; being very kind and soft spoken, very patient and wise. His lessons are very engaging, continuosly testing the students. He is very involved with us, always around in the masjid. He is Well disposed and approachable. May Allah increase our ummah with people who truly manifest the love for the Qur'an and the Sunnah of our Prophet ﷺ in all aspects. Women's classes: The main classes are taught by Umm Sulaim, Sheikh Adnan's wife ▪️Morning session 9am - Dhuhr ▪️Evening session 6pm - Maghrib Men's class schedule: 1⃣. (06:00 > 08:45) Compulsory Qur'an circles (If you fall asleep your peers will wake you up) The Masjid is always vibrant with students studying, memorising and reviewing the Qurān throughout the day, except when the Shaykh's Lessons are running. Students are constantly with their masāhif memorising, revising, peer studying with every opportunity they get. اللهم بارك GREAT PLACE FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO STRENGTHEN THEIR QURĀN MEMORISATION. 2⃣. 10:15 - 11:30 Various دروس خاصة (private classes) Including; Arabic, Handwriting, Aqeedah (And most likely there's more that I'm not aware of yet as I've only been here 2 weeks) 3⃣. (11:30 - 12-45) Almost everyone in the markaz has a قيلولة (siesta) Lessons with the Sheikh: 1⃣. After Dhuhr ▪️Tafsīr al-Baghawī, also known as Ma‘ālim al-Tanzīl ▪️Explanation of: Al Usool Ath-thalaatha (الأصول الثلاثة) From The Manuscripts of Shaykh Al -Islam Muhamnad ibn Abdul Wahab Al-Najdee رحمه الله 2⃣. After 'Asr ▪️ Explanation of “Kitab At-Tawheed” from Fat-hul Majeed ▪️Explanation “Al-Mabaadi’ Al-Mufeedah” by Sheikh Yahya ibn ‘Ali Al-Hajoori. 3⃣. Between Maghrib and Isha ▪️Q&A - General Questions asked to Shaykh. (Very beneficial) ▪️Explanation of “Sunan Abi Dawud” - one of the Kutub al-Sittah collected by Abu Dawud al-Sijistani Accommodation: SINGLE brothers are allocated somewhere to sleep inside the centre. FAMILIES will need to find a place to rent, but this shouldn't be too difficult. I've been told $100 p/m can get you a decent house. Accessible to foreigners? ▪️Tanzania is a very easy place to travel to; humble people, humble lifestyle, open to foreigners. If you want to visit, you can do so on a tourist visa, but if you want to enrol as a full-time student you should contact those in charge (Abu Ahmad or Abu Amhar) for further directions before coming.
