A scholar's Advice to males who teach Islamic sciences to females

Sheikh 'Uthaymeen rahimahullah was asked concerning a male teacher who teaches Qur'ān and other other religious sciences in his house to girls aged 13. He said: “What I hope from this man is that he teaches his wife, sister, or any other female Mahram in his house, then this woman teaches these classes which she has learned from him to those women who come to his house. As for him teaching them while they are of this age, I fear upon him Fitnah, because the Shaytān runs through a person's veins. If he fears that his sister, wife or those other female Mahrams in his house are unable to establish this, then he can deliver his lessons through recordings, then his female Mahram presents it to those female students. This way, the benefit is obtained and he is distanced from Prohibition and any fitnah..." [Fatāwa Nūr 'ala Ad-Darb]
