Sins destroy relationships

Think of a relationship that you were once in; marital or otherwise. What lead to your breakup?...Sin? The Prophet ﷺ said: ((مَا تَوَادَّ اثْنَانِ فِي اللهِ جَلَّ وَعَزَّ أَوْ فِي الإِسْلاَمِ، فَيُفَرَّقُ بَيْنَهُمَا إِلاَّ بِذَنْبٍ يُحْدِثُهُ أَحَدُهُمَا‏)) “No two people love one another for the sake of Allah the Almighty or on the basis of Islam and then split apart except due to a sin that one of them commits.” [Adabul Mufrad (401), graded 'Saheeh' by Sheikh Albani] Note: from experience, the most common sins which cause splitting are backbiting, tale-carrying, having evil assumptions, envy, and not wanting good for one another
