ANSWER: We won't have any Tasweer (making images of animate beings), as we see it to be completely forbidden. The Prophet ﷺ said: ▪️((كُلُّ مُصَوِّرٍ فِي النَّارِ، يَجْعَلُ لَهُ، بِكُلِّ صُورَةٍ صَوَّرَهَا، نَفْسًا فَتُعَذِّبُهُ فِي جَهَنَّمَ)) “Every picture maker will be in the Hellfire, and for every picture he made there will be a soul which will punish him in the Hellfire." ▪️((لاَ تَدْخُلُ المَلاَئِكَةُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ كَلْبٌ وَلاَ صُورَةٌ)) “The angels do not enter a house where there is a dog or a picture.” ▪️((إِنَّ أَشَدَّ النَّاسِ عَذَابًا عِنْدَ اللَّهِ يَوْمَ القِيَامَةِ المُصَوِّرُونَ)) “The most severely punished people on the Day of Judgment will be the picture makers.” As you see, these evidences are general, so they include hand drawn images, statues, as well as images captured using a recording device or camera. Sheikh Ibn Baz rahimahullah said: “وأما تساهل الناس اليوم بالتصوير، فقد ملئوا الدنيا بالتصوير، وهذا تساهل لا وجه له، وهو يدل على قلة المبالاة، وعلى ضعف الدين ممن تعاطاه، والله المستعان.” “As for people's leniency towards the issue of picture making; they have filled the world with pictures.
