Question: My Mother lives alone by herself and I am worried about her. She urges me to move her to my house to live with me and to take care of her and to rejoice with me, but my wife is adamant on refusing to share a home with my mother. Should I obey my wife or mother? Answer: إذا كانت هذه الزوجة لا تتلاءم مع والدتك فأسكنها وحدها وأسكن أمك معك ، أو فالتمس زوجة غيرها تساعدك على بر والدتك. أما إنك تضيع والدتك وتذهب مع زوجتك وتطيع زوجتك ؛ هذا أمر لا يجوز ، هذا من العقوق . If this wife does not fit with your mother, then lodge her alone and you live with your mother or seek another wife to help you to be kind with your mother.
