Someone asked: How is the 'Basmalah' an evidence for the three categories of Tawheed? Answer: The Baa (ب) in the basmalah comes for seeking assistance (الاستعانة), i.e. I seek help & assistance in the name of Allah. Seeking assistance is an example of Tawheed Al-Uloohiyyah. Also, the name (الله) comes from (إله), which means (مألوه) i.e. (المعبود) The One Who is worshipped, as explained in the books of Tawheed. So the name (الله) is another evidence for Tawheed Al-Uloohiyyah. So Where's Tawheed Ar-Ruboobiyyah in this Aayah? The answer to this lies in understanding the connection between Tawheed Al-Uloohiyyah and Tawheed Ar-Ruboobiyyah. That connection is: توحيد الألوهية بتضمن توحيد الربربية i.e. Tawheed Al-Uloohiyyah comprises Tawheed Ar-Ruboobiyyah. In other words, The one who is worshipped is only worshipped due to what they possess of Attributes of Lordship. The three names of Allah mentioned in this Ayah are proof for Tawheed Al-Asmaa' was-Sifaat; as every name indicates an Attribute. Also (الرحمن & الله) are two names specific to Allah. __ Benefited from Sheikh AbdulHameed's explanation of the book [see link -> https://t.me/A_lzoukory/45878]
