This is the ูู
ุฒุฉ that is ALWAYS pronounced; whether at the beginning, middle, or end of a word, and it appears in one of 6 forms:
ุฃ ุข ุฅ ุก ุฆ ุค
Examples:

_______
What is Hamzatul Waแนฃl (ูููู
ูุฒูุฉู ูฑููููุตูู)?
This is the connecting Hamzah (ูฑ). It is an 'ADDITIONAL' ูู
ุฒุฉ prefixed to words which start with Sukลซn to allow for easier pronunciation WHEN STARTING WITH THE WORD.
Try reading these words:
ุณูู
ูุ ุจูููุ ููุชูุจูุ ููุฑูุฃูุ ููุจูููุชูุ ููููุฏูุฑู
Try reading them now:

Which group of words is easier to pronounce?
Well...according to the 'Arabs, the words with the additional Hamzah at the beginning are easier to pronounce, hence why they NEVER begin any word with a Sukลซn!
NOTE: The Hamzatul Waแนฃl is only pronounced when starting with the word. If we are continuing from a previous word, the Hamzatul Waแนฃl is not pronounced!
Examples:
ูููฑุณูู
ู = wasmu-n | ูฑุณูู
ู = ismu-n
ูููฑุจููู = wabnu-n | ูฑุจููู = ibnu-n

BENEFIT:
Hamzatul Waแนฃl occurs in:

2. Verbs - ุฃูููุนูุงูู
3. Particles - ุญูุฑูููู
How is ููู
ูุฒูุฉู ูฑููููุตูู pronounced?
The Hamzatul Waแนฃl may be pronounced with any of the three vowels (แธคarkฤt). Although, it's pronunciation depends on what type of word it occurs in.
1โฃ In the beginning of VERBS it is pronounced with:
A: แธhammah (ูู); if the third letter of the verb carries a CONSTANT แธhammah.
Example:
ูฑููุชูุจู = uktub
B: Kasrah (ูู); if the third letter of the verb has a fat-แธฅah, kasrah or an INCONSTANT แธhammah.
Example:
iqra' = ูฑููุฑูุฃู
ijlis = ูฑุฌูููุณู
imshลซ = ูฑู
ูุดููุง
NOTE: The แธhammah in the last example is not constant; it was originally a Kasrah which has been replaced with a แธhammah to allow for easier pronunciation of the wฤw. I'm sure you'll agree that it's much easier to say: ูุดูู than: ุดููู
2โฃ In the beginning of NOUNS it is always pronounced with a kasrah (ูู)
Example:
ูฑููุชูููุงุนู = intifฤ'u-n
3โฃ In the beginning of PARTICLES.
The only particle which Hamaztul Waแนฃl enters upon is the Lฤm of the definite article (ูู) / ููุงู
ู ูฑูุชููุนูุฑููููู
In this case the ููู
ูุฒูุฉู ุงูููุตููู is always pronounced with a Fat-แธฅah!
Example:
ูฑููููุชูุงุจู = Al-kitฤbu
