من حكمة الله عزوجل أنه لم يأمر في الشرع بأن يقتل الزاني المحصن بالسيف وينتهي أمره بل يرجم بهذه الحجارة حتى يتعذب ويذوق ألم العذاب في مقابل ما وجده من لذة الحرام لأن هذا الزاني تلذذ جميع جسده بالحرام فكان من الحكمة أن ينال هذا الجسد من العذاب بقدر ما نال من اللذة.
“It is from the wisdom of Allah the Almighty that He did not legislate in the Shari’ah for the fornicator to be killed by the sword and his case closed, but rather, he is stoned with these stones until he suffers and tastes the agony of punishment in return for what he enjoyed of forbidden pleasure; because this adulterer enjoyed this forbidden pleasure with all his body, so it is wise for this body to taste a punishment similar to that which it enjoyed of pleasure.”
