BENEFIT 98: The difference between accepting the truth and seeking the truth
I heard Sheikh Abu Bilal hafidhahullah saying on more than one occasion:
“If the truth comes to you, you must accept it no matter who it's from, but in terms of seeking the truth, then this is only sought from Ahlus-Sunnah.”
It's important to know this as you may here some people say that it's okay to study under the people of innovation, because Shaytan taught Abu Hurairah radhiyallahu anhu to recite Ayatul Kursi before going to sleep
