8⃣- Being adamant on video recording shows a lack of tolerance and leads to marginalisation

How is that?
Well, those who hold the view that video-recording is haram will be sinful for attending Tarawih (another reason why I prefer to pray at home), because - according to them - the following statements would take effect:
Sheikhul Islam rahimahullah said:
(لا يجوز لأحدٍ أن يحضر مجالس المنكر باختياره لغير ضرورة)
“It is not permissible for anyone to willingly attend a gathering of Munkar without a dire need.”
[Majmoo' Al-Fatawa (28/ 217)]
Also, Sheikh Uthaymeen rahimahullah said:
(المشاهد لفعل العاصي مثل العاصي حكمًا عند الله)
“In the sight of Allah, the one who observes a sin being committed (without forbidding it) takes the same ruling as the one who engages in that sin.”
[His Tafsir of the Ayah -
The masjid; the House of Allah - not my nor your house, should be a place where everyone feels comfortable. No one should force their views on others. However, by insisting on taking this route, you are indirectly marginalising and closing off the masjid to this group of people. This should not be the case - even if they are a minority.
The masjid should adopt a middle ground, so that all are welcome to worship.
And the middle ground is to avoid video-recording.
I pray & hope that you will reconsider your decision
