And just as Allāh is eternal in His Essence, all of His attributes, including the attribute of speech, are likewise all eternal; and this is why Allāh said:

{قُل لَّوۡ كَانَ ٱلۡبَحۡرُ مِدَادࣰا لِّكَلِمَـٰتِ رَبِّی لَنَفِدَ ٱلۡبَحۡرُ قَبۡلَ أَن تَنفَدَ كَلِمَـٰتُ رَبِّی وَلَوۡ جِئۡنَا بِمِثۡلِهِۦ مَدَدࣰا} "Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “If the ocean were ink for ˹writing˺ the Words of my Lord, it would certainly run out before the Words of my Lord were finished, even if We refilled it with its equal.” [Sūrat Al-Kahf 109] Meaning that the speech of Allāh is endless.
