ألف الإمام ابن خزيمة 'كتاب التوحيد'، ثم جاء أبو بكر بن فورك ورد عليه وحرف الأدلة ونفی الصفات وسمی ابن خزيمة وكتابه وصرح أنه يرد عليه، ثم جاء الإمام أبو يعلى فرد على ابن فورك بكتاب 'إبطال التأويلات' وصرح بذلك في أول کتابه، والكتب الثلاثة كلها في الشاملة إلا أن الأخير مفقود بعضه. أبو محمد عبدالله بن لمح Benefit: Imam Ibn Khuzaymah wrote 'Kitab At-Tawheed', then Abu Bakr bin Fawrak came and refuted him; he distorted the evidences and negated (Allah's) Attributes; he mentioned Ibn Khuzaymah by name as well as his book and stated that he was refuting it. Then, Imam Abu Ya'la came and refuted Ibn Fawrak with a book (entitled) 'Ibtaal At-Taw'weel', as he mentioned at the start of his book.
