With the meaning, He, Allaah the Magnificent in Splendour and Majesty, says, "Why do you worship Those things that can neither benefit you nor harm you? And those false gods, statues, human beings, and other idols you worship will become your enemies on the day when Allaah raises every one from the dead to face His judgement." Allaah illustrates the Foolishness of the Idolators, He says with the meaning, "Yet they have taken besides Him other gods who created nothing but are themselves created, and possess neither harm nor benefit for themselves." Allaah tells us of the ignorance of these idolators, taking other gods instead of Him, the Creator of all things, the One Who controls the affairs of all things; whatever He wills happens and whatever He does not will does not happen. In spite of that, they still worship others besides Him, idols who could not even create the wing of a gnat, but were themselves created. They could neither do harm nor bring benefit to themselves, so how could they do anything for their worshippers! With the meaning He, Allaah says, "And who is more astray than one who calls on (invokes) besides Allâh, such as will not answer him till the Day of Resurrection, and who are (even) unaware of their calls (invocations) to them?" (Al Ahqaaf 5) He is Allah besides Whom there is no other God and besides Whom there is no other Lord. No one should be worshipped except Him because whatever He wills happens and whatever he does not will does not happen. He has no offspring nor progenitor (someone who created Him) nor equal nor likeness nor rival nor peer. He is the One, the Self-Sufficient Master, Whom all creatures need, He begets not, nor was He begotten, and there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him. Allaah will gather together everyone who ever existed, when He raises them from the dead on the coming Day of Judgment. On that day, their gods will deny them, their gurus and spiritual masters will be fleeing from their followers and disciples, trying to save themselves from Allaah's punishment, trying to disassociate themselves from those who devoted themselves to them. All of this to no avail. With the meaning, Allaah says, "And when mankind are gathered (on the Day of Resurrection), they (false deities) will become their enemies and will deny their worshipping." (Al Ahqaaf 6) These gurus and their students will be thrown naked and head first into the fiery inferno of Hell where they will burn forever in searing, intense heat, (a fire 69 times hotter than what we now know). The wretched inmates of Hell or Jahannam will roast eternally, never being allowed to die to stop the horrendous torture they experience there. They also will see through the flames of Hell, the statues and gods they used to worship while here on earth, looking at them. In this way Allaah will increase their torment and pain by filling them with great regret for what they foolishly did. With the meaning Allaah says, "Certainly you disbelievers and that which you worship besides Allaah, are but fuel for the Hell Fire! Surely you will enter it." (al Anbiyaah 98) "You will be defeated and gathered together to Hell, and worst indeed is that place to rest." (Aali 'Imraan 12) Allaah says with the meaning, about these mythological figures, "Truly they are names you and your forefathers have invented for yourselves, which Allaah has not sent any authority for and they only follow their imaginings and what their selves desires." Reincarnation is a theory invented by philosophers of the past who turned away from what Allaah has revealed in His scriptures given to mankind.
