BENEFIT 83: Refuting falsehood is busying oneself with their own faults!
Sheikh Ibn 'Uthaymīn -may Allāh have mercy on him- said:
"Refuting falsehood -be it innovation in speech, belief or action- is right, and abandoning it is wrong. So if one were to say, “busy yourself with your own faults rather than the faults of others,” I say, “among my faults is to avoid refuting falsehood; because refuting falsehood is obligatory.”
