Ingredients 1 tablespoon of barley flour ¼ cup water 1 cup milk Date syrup (to taste) Method 1. In a small pot, mix the barley flour with the water first to form a smooth paste (this helps prevent lumps). 2. Add the milk and stir well. 3. Place on medium heat and cook, stirring continuously. 4. Let it simmer for about 5–7 minutes until it thickens into a smooth, creamy consistency. 5. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly. 6. Stir in date syrup to taste. Serve warm. Adjust thickness with a little extra milk if needed.
