Someone said:

I went to a function where I saw one of the attendees persistently eating dates and drinking coffee, so I asked him: (why is it) I see you constantly eating dates and drinking coffee? He replied: are you aware that my father lived until he was 105 years old? So I enquired: was your father addicted to drinking coffee and eating dates? He replied: No, he -may Allāh have mercy on him- never used to get involved in other people's business.
