BENEFIT 31: How did Sheikh Abū Bilāl master Naḥu (Arabic grammar)? The Sheikh ḥafidhahullāh was asked this very question during last night's Q&A session between Maghrib and 'Ishā. The Sheikh explained that the secret behind his success -after the Tawfeeq of Allāh- is the fact that he used to prepare for his classes beforehand. He would go to the library and read up on the topic that was going to be taught that day and prepare some notes. This gave the Sheikh an advantage because he had a good idea of what to expect during classes. And if things did not go to expectation, i.e. Perhaps the teacher explained something differently to the pre-class notes, the Sheikh would be fully alert and add that to his notes.
