In fact, not long ago I was informed of a sister who - after being married for several months - was unaware that it's obligatory to take a full bath (ghusl) after having sexual intercourse. She only came to find out after informing a relative that she hadn't washed her hair for over a month. The relative was shocked and assumed that there was discord between the couple. But upon enquiry, it became clear that the sister/wife was unaware of this vital piece of knowledge.
More shockingly, a brother relayed to me that in America there was a sister who got married to two men believing that polygamy was permissible for women just as it is permissible for men. الله المستعان
That's why I highly recommend the Muslims in London to attend the Ādāb Az-Zifāf (etiquettes of marriage) class that's currently being taught by our teacher, Abū Aṭiyyah ḥafidhahullāh at Masjid Muqbil; see class (21) https://t.me/madrasatuna/1153
The class is open to both brothers and sister, offering Muslim couples a romantic way to spend their Friday evening!
