AD-DĪN AN-NAṢĪḤAḤ (5) (https://t.me/madrasatuna) Allāh, The Mighty and Majestic, said: {ٱلشَّیۡطَـٰنُ یَعِدُكُمُ ٱلۡفَقۡرَ وَیَأۡمُرُكُم بِٱلۡفَحۡشَاۤءِۖ وَٱللَّهُ یَعِدُكُم مَّغۡفِرَةࣰ مِّنۡهُ وَفَضۡلࣰاۗ وَٱللَّهُ وَ ٰ⁠سِعٌ عَلِیمࣱ} "Shayṭān threatens you with the prospect of poverty and commands you to do foul deeds, while Allāh promises you forgiveness and ˹great˺ bounties from Him. And Allāh is All-Bountiful, All-Knowing. [Sūrah Al-Baqarah 268] _________________________________ Some of Shayṭān's threats & promises: 🔸you can't survive without a degree; apply for a 'student loan' 🔸you'll be homeless; get a 'halal mortgage' 🔸 there's no halal jobs; you might as well start working as an Uber driver 🔸 there's no safety in Muslim countries; forget about migrating 🔸 the end justify the means; you can continue cheating the system and falsely claim benefits, because you're soon going to migrate to a Muslim country! .... ______________________ Some of Allāh's promises: 🔹(وَمَن یُهَاجِرۡ فِی سَبِیلِ ٱللَّهِ یَجِدۡ فِی ٱلۡأَرۡضِ مُرَ ٰ⁠غَمࣰا كَثِیرࣰا وَسَعَةࣰۚ وَمَن یَخۡرُجۡ مِنۢ بَیۡتِهِۦ مُهَاجِرًا إِلَى ٱللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِۦ ثُمَّ یُدۡرِكۡهُ ٱلۡمَوۡتُ فَقَدۡ وَقَعَ أَجۡرُهُۥ عَلَى ٱللَّهِۗ وَكَانَ ٱللَّهُ غَفُورࣰا رَّحِیمࣰا) "Whoever emigrates in the cause of Allāh will find many safe havens and bountiful resources throughout the earth. Those who leave their homes and die while emigrating to Allāh and His Messenger—their reward has already been secured with Allāh. And Allāh is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful." [Sūrah An-Nisā' 100] 🔹 (مَنۡ عَمِلَ صَـٰلِحࣰا مِّن ذَكَرٍ أَوۡ أُنثَىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤۡمِنࣱ فَلَنُحۡیِیَنَّهُۥ حَیَوٰةࣰ طَیِّبَةࣰۖ وَلَنَجۡزِیَنَّهُمۡ أَجۡرَهُم بِأَحۡسَنِ مَا كَانُوا۟ یَعۡمَلُونَ) "Whoever does good, whether male or female, and is a believer, We will surely bless them with a good life, and We will certainly reward them according to the best of their deeds." [Sūrah An-Naḥl 97] 🔹 ‘Umar radhiyallāhu 'anhu said: “I heard the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) say: ((لَوْ أَنَّكُمْ تَوَكَّلْتُمْ عَلَى اللَّهِ حَقَّ تَوَكُّلِهِ لَرَزَقَكُمْ كَمَا يَرْزُقُ الطَّيْرَ تَغْدُو خِمَاصًا وَتَرُوحُ بِطَانًا)) ‘If you were to rely upon Allāh with the reliance He is due, you would be given provision like the birds: They go out hungry in the morning and come back with full bellies in the evening." [Reported by Tirmith, who graded it as ḥasan] 🔹 Allah's Messenger ﷺ said: ((إنك لن تدع شيئاً لله عز وجل إلا بدلك الله به ما هو خير لك منه)) "You don't leave anything for the sake of Allāh except that Allāh will replace it for you with something better." [Musnad Aḥmad - authenticated by sh. Albāni] .... _______________________________ Whose promise are you going to trust❓ Well, this is what Shayṭān has to say: (...إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ وَعَدَكُمۡ وَعۡدَ ٱلۡحَقِّ وَوَعَدتُّكُمۡ فَأَخۡلَفۡتُكُمۡۖ وَمَا كَانَ لِیَ عَلَیۡكُم مِّن سُلۡطَـٰنٍ إِلَّاۤ أَن دَعَوۡتُكُمۡ فَٱسۡتَجَبۡتُمۡ لِیۖ فَلَا تَلُومُونِی وَلُومُوۤا۟ أَنفُسَكُمۖ مَّاۤ أَنَا۠ بِمُصۡرِخِكُمۡ وَمَاۤ أَنتُم بِمُصۡرِخِیَّ إِنِّی كَفَرۡتُ بِمَاۤ أَشۡرَكۡتُمُونِ مِن قَبۡلُۗ إِنَّ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِینَ لَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِیمࣱ) "...Indeed, Allāh had promised you the promise of truth. And I promised you, but I betrayed you. But I had no authority over you except that I invited you, and you responded to me. So do not blame me; but blame yourselves. I cannot be called to your aid, nor can you be called to my aid. Indeed, I deny your association of me [with Allah] before. Indeed, for the wrongdoers is a painful punishment." [Sūrah Ibrāhīm 22]
