The word 'Qurbah' is a general term inclusive of everything that draws a person closer to Allah. The translation should therefore read:

"O Allah! Whoever of the believers I have abused, make that a reason for them to be brought closer to You on the Day of Resurrection." اللهم اجز أبا عبدالله خير الجزاء واجعل هذا التنبيه له قربة يوم القيامة
