يوم عرفة | The day of ‘Arafah

من لم يستطع الوقوفَ بعرفة فليقف عند حدود الله الذي عرفه Whoever is unable to stand at ‘Arafah, then let him stop at the limits of Allāh known to him ومن لم يستطع المبيتَ بمزدلفة فليبت على طاعة الله ليقربه ويزلفه And whoever is unable to spend the night at Muzdalifah, then let him spend the night in Allāh's obedience in order to draw close & near to Him ومن لم يقدر على ذبح هديه بمني فليذبح هواه ليبلغ به المنى And whoever is unable to slaughter a sacrifice at Mina, then let him sacrifice his desires in order to reach the goal ومن لم يستطع الوصول للبيت لأنه بعيد فليقصد رب البيت فإنه اقرب إليه من حبل الوريد And whoever is unable to reach the house (ka'bah) because it is too far, then let him seek the Lord of the house; for He is closer to him than the jugular vain.
