Advising misguided groups Host: What is the Salafi approach in terms of advising existing groups, including Hizbi groups, must they be advised? Since these groups are now an established and influential part of society and have an impact on Islamic outreach, so it is essential to consider how to offer them guidance effectively. Sheikh: Sheikh Ibn Baz, may Allāh have mercy on him, continued to advise everyone up until his death, regardless of whether they were Salafi or not. Therefore, advising others is crucial, and we should not deceive by simply reassuring certain groups or preachers, telling them they are on the right path if they are not. Rather, "The religion is founded on sincere advice." They asked "To whom?" He ﷺ responded, "To Allah, His Messenger, His Book, the leaders of the Muslims, and the common people," as recorded by Muslim.
