Sheikh: Certainly, I would NOT go, as they might exploit the name, saying, "If we were misguided, so-and-so would not have come to us. If we were deviating, so-and-so would not have attended." There is only one exception: if the ruler or leader appoints me to go, in which case I would listen and obey, speaking the truth that I hold before Allāh Almighty.
