As much as we love our Salafi scholars, especially those who - like Sheikh Abdulhameed Az-Zu'kari - dedicate their lives to spreading the Sunnah, we do NOT blindfollow them.
Our scholars have taught us that:
«كلٌّ يؤخذ من قوله ويرد إلا رسول الله ﷺ»
Aside from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, every person's statement can be accepted or rejected.
With that said, here's why we shouldn't attend classes which involve tasweer:
1⃣. Evidences from the Qur'ān
▪️"And when you come across those who ridicule Our revelations (i.e. engage in falsehood), do not sit with them unless they engage in a different topic. Should Shayṭān make you forget, then once you remember, DO NOT ˹CONTINUE TO˺ SIT with the wrongdoing people." [Surah Al-Anʿām: 68]
▪️"He has already revealed to you in the Book that when you hear Allah’s revelations being denied or ridiculed, then DO NOT SIT IN THAT COMPANY unless they engage in a different topic, or ELSE YOU WILL BE LIKE THEM." [Surah An-Nisāʾ: 140]
After citing the above two Āyāt, Sheikh Ibn Baz rahimahullah commented:
«فدلت الآية على أن من حضر المنكر ولم يعرض عن أهله فهو مثلهم...الساكت عن المنكر مع القدرة على الإنكار أو المفارقة مثل من فعله...»
"The Āyah indicates that whoever is present where an act of wrongdoing is taking place and does not turn away from those committing it, THEY ARE CONSIDERED AS ONE OF THEM...Remaining silent in the face of wrongdoing, despite having the ability to denounce or distance oneself from it, IS AKIN TO PARTICIPATING IN IT."

▪️"˹They (the righteous) are˺ those who do not bear false witness, and when they come across falsehood, they pass ˹it˺ by with dignity." [Surah Al-Furqān: 72]

2⃣. Evidences from the Sunnah
▪️The Prophet ﷺ forbade creating images of animate beings
https://t.me/almanhajussalafi/415
▪️ In the case where the image already exits, he ﷺ has instructed us to deface it
▪️If one is unable to prevent tasweer taking place or deface them, the least he/she can do is refrain from willingly attending such gatherings.

In his Sunan, Ibn Majah rahimahullah mentions the following chapter:
باب إذا رأى الضيف منكرا رجع
Chapter: If a guest sees something objectionable, he should leave.
He then cited the following hadith under this chapter:
عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رضي الله عنه قَالَ صَنَعْتُ طَعَامًا فَدَعَوْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَجَاءَ فَرَأَى فِي الْبَيْتِ تَصَاوِيرَ فَرَجَعَ.‏
On the authority of ‘Ali raḍhiyallāhu 'anu that he said: “I prepared a meal and invited the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He came and saw some images in the house, so he left.” [Sunan Ibn Majah (3359) - authenticated by Sheikh AbdulMuhsin Al-'Abbad]
We should follow the Prophet's guidance and also imitate the honourable angels who distance themselves from such places
The poet said:
“Imitate (them) if you cannot be exactly like them — For verily imitating the honourable ones is prosperity”
3⃣. Scholarly Fatwa
▪️Fatwa of Imam Muqbil rahimahullah, who said:
- Do not attend
- There's no Barakah

▪️Fatwa of Sheikh Yahya ḥafidhahullāh, who said:
- Do not attend
- There's no Barakah

▪️Fatwa of Sheikh Muhammad Ba Jammāl, who said:
"...if I know he has Taṣwīr taking place in his masjid, I don't go to him, nor do I support him (in this affair). Because if people see me there, they will say we saw so-and-so with him, he must have taken part in the Taṣwīr. They won't say he prevented them from Taṣwīr, or he warned against Taṣwīr, or he disapproved Taṣwīr, and such excuses."

4⃣. The common folk will see this as a tacit agreement and become deceived
