BENEFIT 218: What are the conditions of 'Umar Shāfi (عمر شافي) and Nāsir Al-Ṣūrāni (ناصر آل صوراني)?

Sheikh Najeeb Ash-Shar'abi ḥafidhahullāh said: 'Umar Shāfi As-Subay'ee can be classified as a Saudi media personality with a strong academic background. He holds a Bachelor's degree in the Sunnah and its Sciences from Imam [Saud] University in Riyadh and has several diplomas in social sciences. He addresses important topics and sensitive issues within the Ummah in a purposeful and realistic manner to a great extent, focusing on facts and figures. His writings reflect his zeal for the Sunnah, may Allāh bless him, and his efforts to expose the hypocrites and the bankrupt activists (i.e. ikhwanul Muflisoon) as well as the Surūrees. It is evident to those who are discerning and vigilant that he aligns himself under the banner of defending the state of Tawheed (Saudi), may Allāh protect it, and adopts its views on various issues and events. As for Nāsir Al-Ṣūrāni, he also adopts the same approach by highlighting the scandals of the Bāṭiniyyah and their offshoots, and the bankrupt partisans and their followers. He mentions facts and events that the Ahlus-Sunnah recognise and are aware of, in contrast to the general public, who are followers of every rumor, and who fall prey to lies, deception, distortion of facts, and selling illusions.
