Tasweer (CCTV) in the Masjid (4)

Sheikh Yahya Al-Hajuri ḥafidhahullāh states: "...Many of these masjids contain Tasweer; they now have cameras at the entrances where no one can enter without being recorded. However, do not abandon congregational prayers; the sin is on those who impose such measures. Those who detest it are free from blame, and those who disapprove are safe, but those who accept and follow it share the responsibility. Whether these are regular masjids or places with broader significance. Are we to abandon pilgrimage?! Are we to abandon the obligatory 'Umrah?! Are we to abandon attending the Friday or congregational prayers in the masjid?! In some countries, all masjids have these cameras. Do not forsake congregational prayers, Eid prayers, or any other religious duties. Avoid such places as much as possible. Fear Allah as much as you are able, and warn against this practice if you are able. We seek Allah's help." @almanhajussalafi
