Sheikh Abdulḥamīd's most recent speech regarding Sheikh Sulaymān Ar-Ruhaili

Question: What is the condition of Sheikh Dr. Salman ibn Saleem ullah Ar-Ruhaili, is he Salafi or not? Sheikh Abdulḥamīd Az-Zu'kari ḥafidhahullāh: "Yes, he is Salafi. If any deviations are found from him, they are not to be taken/accepted from him. Likewise, in the same manner, he is not abandoned in totality. A Salafi remains a Salafi and his mistakes are rejected, and a Khalafi remains a Khalafi and his conformation [to the truth] does not qualify him to be considered a Salafi. I'm not sure, does he (the questioner) intend Suleyman [Ar-Ruhayli]? This answer relates to Suleiman Ar-Ruhayli. He has good refutations against the hizbees and has good stances in spreading the Sunnah. We ask Allah to grant us and him success and soundness."
