BENEFIT 13: Who is the founder of Salafiyyah?

We should all know by now that Salafiyyah is not a new religion or an innovated sect! Salafiyyah is merely true orthodox Islām. Thus, the founder of true orthodox Islām is the same founder of Salafiyyah. Sheikh Aḥmad An-Najmi raḥimahullāh said: “Salafiyyah does not have a leader except the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ). For indeed the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) is the Imām of Salafiyyah; he their role-model, just as the Companions of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) are their role-model. The basis for that and the foundation for it is the statement of the Prophet (ﷺ): ((افترقت اليهود على إحدى وسبعين فرقة، وافترقت النصارى على اثنتين وسبعين فرقة، وستفترق هذه الأمة على ثلاث وسبعين فرقة؛ كلها في النار إلا واحدة، قيل: من هي يا رسول الله؟ فقال ﷺ: من كان على مثل ما أنا عليه وأصحابي)) “The Jews were split up into seventy-one or seventy-two sects; and the Christians were split up into seventy one or seventy-two sects; and my Ummah will be split up into seventy-three sects. It was said: Who are they oh Messenger of Allāh? He said: Whoever is upon what I and my Companions are upon.” He (Sheikh Aḥmad An-Najmi) raḥimahullāh also said: “The followers of Salafiyyah are upon truth unlike other than them because their Imām is the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.” Similarly, Sheikh Salīm Al-Hilāli ḥafidhahullāh wrote: “...the Imām (leader) of the Salaf us Ṣāliḥ is Muḥammad ibn ’Abdillāh; the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ) and the Seal of Prophethood.” 📜 Ref: https://t.me/almanhajussalafi/53
