BENEFIT 158: Is Hizbiyyah a new phenomenon (نازلة)?

Sheikh Yūsuf Al-Jazaa’iri hafidahullāh said:
"Partisanship (Hizbiyyah) has existed since Shaytaan refused to bow to Adam, being bias and partisan to his kind.
{أأسجد لمن خلقت طينا}
"Shall I bow down to one whom You created from clay?"
From that point, Hizbiyyah began and persists to this day. So how can it be said that partisanship is a new phenomenon?!"
