Shatibi Institute is based in WLICC which was formerly known as Al Muntada mosque. Al Muntada Trust is based there still and they are upon the same manhaj. The masjid was established by Muhammad Suroor and in recent times their main Imam has been none other than Haitham al Haddad In addition to this, they invite people like Ahmad Al Ma'sarawy and praise him, from the heads of the khawarij in Egypt. One of their teachers Musa Abu Zaghleh has been known to have khariji tendencies.
