BENEFIT 144: The scholars who allow voting are wrong!

Sheikh Abdulḥamīd Az-Zu'kari hafidhahullah said:
"Whoever issues a fatwa permitting participation in parliamentary elections or presidential elections, is not correct, and most likely they are not callers to the Sunnah.
When Sheikh Ibn Baz, Sheikh Uthaymeen, and Sheikh Al-Albani, may Allah have mercy on them, issued fatwas allowing voting (in Algeria), due to what the questioners portrayed, making it seem like the only thing that stands between the people and the establishment of a government ruling by the Qur'an and Sunnah was these elections, the response from Sheikh Muqbil was that this was a slip from these scholars that should not be followed. Indeed (Sheikh Muqbil was right), elections were held in Algeria, and what happened? There was killing and fighting and slaughter. The Algerians called it the "dark decade." Close to a million were killed. We ask Allah for safety and well-being.
How many of the ikhwan Al-Muslimoon, the deceivers among us in Yemen and in other countries, issue fatwas permitting elections, and then when they ascend and enter into parliament, they vote for evil, they vote for calamity, they vote for what contradicts the Qur’an and the Sunnah. Elections are a means to many evils even though they are prohibited in themselves...
Do not believe someone who tells you, "Give me your vote and I will bring about change," he is a liar! As soon as he enters the parliament, he changes and becomes a war against Islam and the Muslims, against the correct creed, against the pure religion, against the Shariah dealings. So stay away, may Allah grant you success. Beware of these tyrannical fatwas. These are tyrannical fatwas, not legitimate fatwas.
By the grace of Allah, I have discussed the issue of elections in my book "سلامة الخلف في طريقة السلف," and I also authored a response to Muhammad Hassan and Khalid ibn AbdurRahman, the two Egyptians, when they issued a fatwa before, I think, eleven years ago or so, to participate in elections.
So beware and warn others from entering into this evil, this calamity, even if others disagree with you, adhere to the religion of Allah, adhere to the Sharia of Allah, and let no one say to you, "We are voting for the better person," the better person is unable to improve anything, the better person will will not enter into parliament, the better person will not seek judgement through democracy.
We ask Allah for safety and well-being. We do not say that Muslim parliamentarians are disbelievers. They (Muslim parliaments run on democratic systems) are tyrannical. If they believe that its ruling is like the ruling of Allah or better than the ruling of Allah or that the ruling of Allah is not suitable for this time; whoever holds this belief is a disbeliever. Otherwise they are misguided [Muslims] who lead others astray. And Allah is the one sought for help.
