BENEFIT 140: Falsely accusing Ahlus-Sunnah of Haddadiyyah

Sheikh Yūsuf Al-Jazaa’iri hafidahullāh said: "...It is worth noting that the term "Haddadiyyah" has become a deceptive weapon often used by various people against sincere advisors from Ahlus-Sunnah, attaching this label to them as a means of defaming them, while they are innocent of this description. You find that when a sincere advisor comes and advises, clarifying the errors of the misguided and the mistakes of the mistaken with evidence from the Qur'an and Sunnah, and affirming the methodology of the Salaf, they are accused of being Haddadi. This is unjust and an act of extremism. They (the accusors) are more deserving of this label. You find people accusing callers to Allah and scholars and students of knowledge in Dar al-Hadith in Dammaj with this label, while they are the furthest from Haddadiyyah, rather they are among the greatest warriors against the Haddadiyyah. Falih Al-Harbi was refuted by Sheikh Yahya, may Allah preserve him, several years ago in a treatise titled "Falih Al-Harbi; the one Fervent in Exaggeration and Lacking Fairness," at a time when Sheikh Rabee, may Allah preserve him, would advise him not to respond to Sheikh Falih, saying that Sheikh Falah is the cannon of the Salafi Da'wah. At that time, while Sheikh Yahya had insight of this person's condition and refuted him, and now he is among the Haddadiyyah, many scholars would use such words to describe him, praising and commending Falih. So how can these sincere advisors now be labeled as Haddadis?! On the other hand, you find such individuals have exceeded and exaggerated in issuing several judgments against the heads of Ahlus-Sunnah, with some even associating this term with Sheikh Yahya hafidahullah and his students - as is the case with Sheikh Muhammad ibn Hadi, may Allah rectify him, who said of Sheikh Muqbil that he is from the followers of Juhayman, and likewise Abdullah al-Bukhari said of Sheikh Muqbil and his students, as his voice was recorded and circulated, that they are Kharijites. What is this?! This is Haddadiyyah. If it is necessary to label someone as being Haddadi, it is they who deserve it. The reviver, Imam Muqbil ibn Hadi al-Wadi'i, may Allah have mercy on him, who propagated the Sunnah and revived the religion in Yemen and beyond, reaching various corners of the world; the north, south, east, and west; such that denying his imamahship and revivalism is a form of deviation and a denial of the obvious reality. The scholars of guidance and the scholars of the Ummah testify to his revival of the religion and testify to his imamaship; the likes of Sheikh Ibn Baz, Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen, Sheikh Albani, Sheikh An-Najmi, Sheikh Rabee, and others among the scholars. Then someone comes and accuses Sheikh Muqbil raḥimahullāh and his students of being Kharijites, and in return, you find no one objecting to this claim, and there is complete silence. Whereas, if they hear one-tenth of such statements or find something to cling to, they go all out on Ahlus-Sunnah in Dammaj. We say to them, "Be just; that is closer to righteousness."
