لا نشتري التين بالدين

We do not buy Teen (figs) using the Deen Ibrahim ibn Ad-ham passed by a boy selling figs, and he said to him: 'O boy, give me some of these figs.' The boy refused to sell to him. Then, a man approached the seller and said to him: 'Sell the figs to this man, for he is Ibrahim ibn Ad-ham.' So, the boy followed Ibrahim and said: 'O uncle, take whatever figs you want.' Ibrahim replied: 'We do not buy figs using the Deen.' [Hilyat al-Awliya, (392/7)]
