O honorable Sheikh, may Allāh grant you success, he (the questioner) says: "Whoever mentions or uses the story of Abū Hurairah, may Allāh be pleased with him, with the devil, claiming that the Prophet, peace be upon him, took the truth from the devil, and therefore it is permissible for a person to acquire knowledge from anyone, as long as he restricts himself to taking the truth and abandoning falsehood.
Sheikh Fawzān ḥafidhahullāh:
Subḥānallāh! Abū Huraira did not take this from the devil; rather, he took it from the Messenger of Allāh, peace be upon him. He ﷺ said: "He spoke the truth, while he (the devil) is a liar." So, Abū Hurairah took this from his the Messenger, not from the devil. Yes.
