Short debate between a Sunni and a Mu'tazilite regarding the Divine Attribute of Speech | Narrated by Al-’Allāmah ibn ḥumaid raḥimahullāh

Background: Ahlus-Sunnah affirm that Allāh speaks in a manner befitting His Majesty without resembling any of His Creation. On the hand, the Mu'tazilite (a deviant sect) reject this, as well as all the other Divine Attributes of Allāh. _ The debate: Mu'tazilite: Do you believe that Allāh speaks? Sunni: Yes! Mu'tazilite: So what will you say when you stand before Allāh on the Day of Judgement and He says to you, “O You! Where did you find that I speak?” What will your answer be? Sunni: [I will say] Here you are speaking, O my Lord. ____ Conclusion: The Sunni defeated the Mu'tazilite based on his own speech, without having to quote any evidences.
