Salafis Are a Red Line That Cannot Be Crossed

Sheikh Abu Bilal hafidhahullah said: We always advise ourselves with this, and by Allah we continually remind ourselves of it: The Salafi is a red line. By Allah, even if the closest of people were to speak against them, I swear by Allah that we would not remain silent. The Salafi is a red line, especially those who are beneficial, upon goodness, and whose benefit is ongoing and from whom people continue to learn. Speaking ill of such a person is not a small matter. It is a waste of his knowledge, it weakens his da‘wah, and it turns people away from benefitting from his knowledge and good. It is not something light. Speaking against him is not easy—it means wasting his knowledge, weakening his da‘wah, and discouraging people from his knowledge and goodness. It is not a small issue. It is necessary to defend the Salafis; it is necessary to stand in their defence.
