"I, Allaah الله only created the jinn and mankind so that they should worship Me and nothing else."

adh Dhaariyaat 51:56 إن الذين كَفَرُوا۟ مِنْ أَهْلِ ٱلْكِتَٰبِ وَٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ فِى نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ خَٰلِدِينَ فِيهَآۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمْ شَرُّ ٱلْبَرِيَّةِ "Truly those who disbelieve (in Islaam, worship of One God alone) from the Jews and Christians and others like Hindus and Buddhists, will abide in the Fire of Hell forever. They are the worst of what الله Allaah created." al Bayyinah 98:6 It's not permissible for us Muslims to join in these celebrations of Easter and Good Friday. Nor do we accept gifts of Easter eggs or Hot Cross Buns or buy them for ourselves or families or friends. Nor do we visit Christians and others who are celebrating in their homes. Neither do we greet them by saying, "Have a Happy Easter" or reply to them in the same way if they greet us with this. As Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم said in an authentic hadeeth or narration: " مَنْ تَشَبَّهَ بِقَوْمٍ فَهُوَ مِنْهُمْ " "And whoever imitates a people (or joins them in their celebrations), then he is from them." Easter this year falls on the date 15th April 2026, which is the 26th Shawaal 1448 Although in the past, this was a very big religious celebration for Christians, many or most people now have become atheists. Easter is now big business for those money making producing and selling all kinds of chocolate Eggs, big and small and the money made from selling Hot Cross Buns. However inspite of this, it should not prevent us Muslims from exposing and making clear to others all the lies, deceits and trickery used by the remaining Christians today who are still very active in spreading and propagating their faith.
