BENEFIT: Beware of Misguidance and Guard Your Heart

Sheikh Salih As-Sindi hafidhahullah states: "Do not visit the websites of those who are misguided. Do not follow suspicious accounts. Do not read the books of those who have gone astray. Do not watch the videos of those who are lost. Do not browse the channels of those who spread corruption. If you run away from a person with a contagious disease as you would run from a lion, then what about someone whose heart, mind, and faith are diseased? Know — may Allah take care of you — that when a spark of doubt enters the heart, it may burn it. Do not be deceived by calls for “freedom” and “openness,” or by simple curiosity. Our Prophet (peace be upon him) said, as reported in the two authentic collections: “If you see those who follow what is unclear in it, they are the ones whom Allah has named, so beware of them.” Understand, O blessed one, that the greater and more widespread misguidance becomes, the greater your fear of it should be. The greater your fear of it should be.
