So what exactly does he want to review?
If someone wants to re-examine an issue, he returns to the Qur’an and Sunnah. If he finds a statement of Malik, he measures it against the Qur’an and Sunnah. If he finds a statement of Ahmad, he measures it against the Qur’an and Sunnah. All opinions must be supported by evidence from the Book and Sunnah—they are not evidence by themselves.
Legal principles must also be supported by evidence from the Qur’an and Sunnah.
But to claim that the correct fiqh of the Qur’an and Sunnah must be reviewed according to his own reasoning—this is serious deviation and Misguidance. He has exposed himself with such words.
Then he says: “I hope that Allah will allow a new Islamic legal school to be established through me.”
Who are you, O insignificant man, to call people to a school that you create? You are ignorant of Allah’s religion—ignorant of tawheed, ignorant of aqeedah, ignorant of fiqh, ignorant in dealings. We have already explained that binding people to a madh-hab is an innovation and not originally part of our religion. So how can you seek to establish a new madh-hab?
This is similar to what Ali Al-Bukhaiti did recently, when he claimed he wanted to produce a Qur’an similar to the Qur’an of Allah. He made noise about it for a few days, then Allah exposed him, people rejected him, and he was silenced. And now this one wants to establish a new madh-hab.
Are you even within the fold of Islam, or have you left it, that you now want to found a new madh-hab? Islam is not in need of you or people like you. Allah Himself has guaranteed the preservation of Islam. He entrusted its preservation to the scholars of this Ummah—from the Prophet (peace be upon him), then the Companions, then the Followers, and those after them who followed their path until the Day of Judgment. They recorded it, wrote it down, preserved it, defended it, and honoured it.
Where are you compared to them?
You openly show love and respect for the Ibadis—the Kharijites—who defend the people of Nahrawan who fought against Ali ibn Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him); who declare that a Muslim who commits a major sin will remain forever in Hell; who deny that Allah will be seen in the Hereafter; who say that the Qur’an was created; and other deviations. You have clearly expressed admiration for them in recorded and published statements.
You also say that Ahlus-Sunnah, the Shi‘ah, the Isma‘ilis, and the Ibadis all believe in Allah as Lord, Muhammad as Prophet, and Islam as religion—and that all of them are upon good.
Look at this evil one. Look at this evil speech which resembles the speech of the heretics.
Do we believe in the same Lord as the Rafidah? Many of their extremists believe that Ali ibn Abi Talib is their Lord—may Allah protect us. Ali himself punished some of them for such beliefs. They believe in the return (raj‘ah) and in the infallibility of their imams. Khomeini even claimed, in meaning, that the twelve imams achieved levels not reached by the prophets. And you say they are our brothers?
As for the Isma‘ilis—the esoteric sects such as the Makramis and others in Najran, Al-Ahsa, parts of Yemen like Haraz and other regions—are they our brothers? The scholars have declared them disbelievers. Ibn Taymiyyah even mentioned that their disbelief is worse than that of the Jews and Christians.
Their own statements and poetry openly mock the religion—belittling prayer, fasting, pilgrimage, and even allowing alcohol and immorality. Yet you say they are our brothers and that they believe in Allah?
