BENEFIT 507: The Principles of Salafiyyah Offer the Greatest Purification for the Hearts

Sheikh Ramzān Al-Hājiri ḥafidhahullāh said: What is the sound (upright) heart, O ‘Abdullāh? The sound heart is the one that is firmly established upon Tawhīd and far removed from shirk. The sound heart is the one that adheres to the Sunnah and is far removed from bid’ah. The sound heart is the one that is steadfast in acts of obedience and far removed from sins and reprehensible deeds. The sound heart is the one that remains upon unity, community, listening and obeying the rulers, far removed from the ways of the Khawārij, takfīris and those who engage in acts of explosions. The sound heart is the one that is upright upon chastity and virtue, and far removed from indecency and vice.
