I say: This was his statement (may Allāh have mercy on him) regarding scientific miracles. So what do you think of numerical miracles, which are pure falsehood—a form of nonsense and delirium, without any foundation in the Sharīʿah, the intellect, or reality?! Undoubtedly, whoever occupies himself with such matters has erred greatly, assumed knowledge of what he does not know, and fallen into manifest humiliation. We ask Allāh for safety and protection.
If we were to examine the condition of those engrossed in “numerical miracles,” we would find them among the people most averse to the sciences of the Qur'ān and Sunnah. And Allāh is the One whose help is sought.
Whoever truly desires to defend the religion and safeguard the Qur'ān and the Sunnah must follow the path of the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ, and the path of the foremost predecessors among the Muhājirīn and the Anṣār, and those who follow them in excellence.
Allāh , the Exalted, says: “Whoever opposes the Messenger after guidance has become clear to him and follows other than the way of the believers—We will turn him to what he has turned to, and We will burn him in Hell, and evil it is as a destination.” [An-Nisāʾ: 115]
